Meet the founder

who is casey?

When Casey was 14 she got her first event industry job as an assistant to a celebrity wedding coordinator. She was quickly enamored by it all. She went on to work at Skirball Cultural Center as event staff where she got the chance to work on a wide array of events, from weddings and bar/bat mitzvah’s to corporate events.

While Skirball was great, she wasn’t satiated with being on the catering side, she wanted to be a coordinator herself. She volunteered to shadow for every coordinator she could so that she could build up her knowledge and experience.

In 2017 she became a single mother and had to put event planning on the back burner to care for her daughter.

After overcoming the challenges of single motherhood, Casey got married in 2021. This wedding was not only the redemption she needed for her family but was also the spark that reignited the flame to become an event planner again.

Since then, Casey has been planning events full-time.

dearly beloved…

The way to say Beloved in Hebrew is Ahuva.

Before meeting my husband David (pictured), I had worked as an event coordinator/assistant off and on for about 15 years. I always loved the part when the officiant would say “Dearly, Beloved”. Beloved quickly became my favorite word. Oddly enough, I married a man whose name also means Beloved!
Divine foreshadowing? I think so! After planning our wedding in just a short 3 months, I decided to start planning events professionally again. I wanted to incorporate Ahuva into every step of what can be, a daunting planning process. My goal is to plan and design events that make you feel just that.
